To sell or not to sell

A couple of days ago I was in my way to see a coaching client when a humble guy approached my car with a very nice wooden chariot, handmade asking me if I want to buy it. The little chariot was very nice and I asked how much? 15 $ he said and I thought this is realy cheap estimating the amount of craftsmanship involved.

Took me 5 more minutes to get some cash from a machine and got back happy to buy this for my daughter Ana.

Before my departure the guy asked for my help and I asked what kind of help? Well, he said, I have a son who is 20 and looking for a job. Immediately I asked him, what about this one, to be with you here. Sadly he said, no, he is ashamed of coming and selling this with me.  I walked towards my car thinking about this and wondering myself : is it so wrong to sell your own creation? What is the real problem ?

In my way back I got stopped by a man who asked me if I sell the charriot, instictively I said yes, 30$, the guy reached his wallet when I stopped him saying, just kidding, not for sale!
