Launching ICA branch in the Balkans: Become a coach in less than one year

I’m back on track, so to speak, as this year I’m starting a great project which gives me good reasons to stay up at night and wake up early in the morning.

In February 2013, we (meaning I’Consultants) are launching an International Coach Academy (ICA) branch for the Balkans area, based in Bucharest.

I’m making this step after graduating ICA four years ago and being an ICA trainer for the past one year and a half.

And although I’ve been focused rather on growing my own business until now, I’ve been closely connected to the coaching market and noticed that many professionals in this area strive to get accreditation, find clients, start their own business independently, and be as good as possible at it.

I’ve been there – and sometimes I have the impression I’m not very far from it – and I know it isn’t easy. It took me two years and a couple of months to get my PCC accreditation, and yet I can consider myself lucky. Most coaches get to ACC level in two or three years. After all, this might not be such an important thing, unless you want to start out on your own or it’s a requirement for training people in your organization. My experience tells me it’s not a must, but it is for sure a big advantage.

So as an ICA student and then trainer, I realized that this is one of the best coaching schools worldwide. On one hand, it gives you everything you need to grow as a coach: classes, training, practice, supervision. On the other hand, it helps you enter a bigger context: understanding how to start your business as a coach both locally and internationally, finding a suitable niche for your unique qualities, writing and blogging, and access to a learning platform where great tips on coaching pop up regularly and more than 4.000 students have the chance to interact.

I call this a one-stop solution for becoming a coach. It means you don’t have to knock on other doors. And the greatest advantage of a flawless process is that in less than 12 or 18 months (depending on the number of coaching hours) you can reach ACC or PCC level.

So this is it. And the good news is you have the chance to experience it right here, live in Bucharest, since February 2013. Next month.

On January 22 we are also doing an “Info Meeting”, where we will give all the other details you need.

Write down any question you have, as we will answer all of them.
